2023 Community Health Needs Assessment 

WWCDCH partnered with Heidi Berthoud Consulting, to conduct the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) to identify the needs and concerns of our residents to help both understand and strengthen our community. The CHNA will guide the new five-year community health improvement plan (CHIP) as we continue to work toward a safer, healthier, and thriving Walla Walla County.

2022 Walla Walla County Behavioral Health Needs Assessment

Beginning in 2021, Human Services Research Institute (HSRI) engaged in comprehensive mixed methods research to understand the Walla Walla County behavioral health system. Funded by the Walla Walla County Board of County Commissioners and in partnership with the Walla Walla County Department of Community Health, the project team gathered insights through listening sessions, stakeholder interviews, and the widest array of health and human services data available, to identify strengths of the community and shed light on gaps between existing and needed services.
