Environmental Health
Environmental Health is a branch of public health that focuses on prevention of disease in a community through safe food and water, proper disposal of wastes, and promoting safe and healthy environmental conditions throughout the county. This is done through inspections and enforcement of various state and local laws, all of which are designed to promote a healthier community.
The Environmental Health Division oversees the following programs in our community:

- On-site Sewage
- Land Development
- Water Recreation Facilities
- School Health and Safety
- Solid Waste
- Zoonotic Disease (animal to human) Surveillance and Investigation
- Blue-green Algae
